HydraTilt Hydraulic Door System Features

  • Door frames use tracks and permanently mounted rollers to
guide the door open and closed.
  • Exterior truss system is factory-welded to prevent water intrusion.
  • Door panels are fabricated from tubing using standard structural
shapes such as “C”s and “Z”s.
  • Doors are secured to the structure floor with cold roll drop pins.
Placement and quantity vary for each project depending on door size.
  • Weather seals at the top, bottom and side provide excellent weather protection.
Seals are easily replaceable over time.
  • Hydraulic devices like pumps, actuators, valves, reservoirs and rams are selected
for safety and designed for each specific project.
  • Door panels are primed with either red oxide or gray industrial primer,
    depending on steel used.
  • Control panels are watertight and enclosed in NEMA 4 boxes.
Interlocking switches control opening and closing limits.
  • Warning devices like bells, horns and strobes can be added to notify the area of the
    movement of the hangar door.

The HydraTilt Door Structure

Designed to meet your specific needs, HydraTilt hangar doors are ensured to operate as specified with a tight fit to the building to prevent warping and sagging of members. A one-piece upward swinging door allows for thermal movement and prevents the door from buckling under ambient and/or surface temperatures. The door can be operated between -30 and 140 degrees Farenheit. Each door is also engineered to operate within the wind pressures of its geographic region.

HydraTilt Hangar Door Specifications

HydraTilt Lift System

The HydraTilt hydraulic door system is an upward tilting door that pivots on side-mounted hydraulic cylinders at the mid point of the door system. Doors are actuated by means of twin hydraulic ram cylinders working in sequence and are powered by electric motors. Depending on the door size, electric motors range from 120v, 208v, 230, or 460v in single and 3 phase.

HydraTilt hangar doors are controlled by means of constant pressure push buttons operated either remotely or via mounted interior panel. Push buttons stop the movement of the door when pressure is released.
