Slide-and-Hide Hangar Door Systems

Introducing the Slide ‘n Hide™ door system—a groundbreaking solution engineered to optimize hangar space and enhance operational efficiency. This innovative design eliminates the need for traditional storage pockets, offering a streamlined alternative to conventional rolling doors.

Currently, we are installing Slide ‘n Hide™ doors at Sky Harbour locations in Addison, TX; Phoenix, AZ; and Denver, CO. The show hangar in Addison is nearing completion, and we anticipate sharing high-quality photos and videos of the door in action soon.

In the meantime, please refer to the design photos below for a preview of this innovative system. Stay tuned for further updates!

Features

  • Panels are stored along the inside walls of the hangar, eliminating the need for external or internal panel storage pockets
  • Reduces the required footprint for the door system, freeing up space for other uses
  • 90° Turn Mechanism – The panels smoothly pivot to align with the walls after sliding open, providing an efficient and organized storage method
  • Minimal tracks – Unlike standard rolling doors with multiple rains, the Slide ‘n Hide system uses fewer tracks, simplifying installation and reducing maintenance needs
  • Ideal for restricted space environments, where the building size or shape limits the use of conventional hangar doors.
  • Suitable for retrofit installations as well as new construction projects.
  • The absence of traditional rail stacks simplifies the overhead and structural requirements of the building.
