Bookkeeper

We are seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented person to oversee our financial operations and ensure the integrity of our financial reporting. Detailed Information

HOURS: Monday – Friday (8 a.m. – 5 p.m.) (Traditional in-office position)

COMPENSATION: Commensurate with experience and skills. Full-time; paid holiday and vacation time; health insurance available after 90-days.

QUALIFICATIONS: 

  • 4+ years experience in accounting or a similar role is preferred.
  • Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred)
  • Strong knowledge of financial analysis techniques and reporting standards.
  • Proficiency in accounting software such as QuickBooks, Sage, or Xero is essential; ERP systems experience is a plus!
  • Familiarity with manufacturing processes and inventory management.
  • Experience with payroll processing and governmental accounting is a plus.
  • Excellent written communication skills for effective financial report writing.
  • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team-oriented environment while managing multiple priorities.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

  • Prepare and analyze financial statements.
  • Oversee the preparation of regulatory reports and ensure compliance with all relevant regulations.
  • Conduct financial analysis to support strategic decision-making.
  • Prepare detailed financial reports for management review.
  • Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
  • Collaborate with external auditors during audits and provide necessary documentation.
  • Help manage accounting staff and provide training as needed to enhance team performance.
  • Stay updated on industry trends and changes in regulations that may impact the organization.
